Proposed name change to ZIGUP plc
We have announced a more modern and forward-looking corporate brand reinforcing the group’s positive long-term outlook alongside our proposed new company name, ZIGUP plc.
Together with a refreshed strategic framework, these better reflect the strength and breadth of our current proposition, our continued focus on growth and commitment to being a leading provider of responsible and integrated mobility solutions and automotive services and are also aligned to an updated purpose, ‘to keep customers moving, smarter’.
Shareholders are being asked to approve this name change at a General Meeting. If approved, the roll-out of the new brand will commence on 20 May 2024.
Strategic framework refresh
Since 2020, our corporate strategy has been focused on delivering the benefits of our range of products and services, which together offer differentiated mobility solutions across the vehicle lifecycle, through an integrated platform.
We continue to develop ways to better serve the needs of our customers, and following a recent organisational restructure that has brought the management of the UK&I businesses closer together, we are introducing a refreshed strategic framework under the pillars of Enable, Deliver and Grow as we embrace the changing environment in which we and our customers operate:

Exploring opportunities to responsibly grow the business’s breadth, size and capabilities, including into both complementary and new products and geographies.

Q&A
We’re a different business than the one we brought together in the 2020 merger, and our new name better reflects the business we are today and the forward-looking ambitions of the business we’re building.
There are no plans to change our 11 well-known operating brands, but we will create more of a visible connection back to our new corporate brand by adding a ‘lock up’ statement: ‘part of ZIGUP’. So, it’s clearer that we’re all part of the same business – part of ZIGUP.
The brands within the former Redde group stand strong in their markets in their own right, and these will continue following our name change, as part of ZIGUP, but with the Redde name retired, both internally and externally.
We’ve taken our time to think about and define what makes us special and what we want our new brand to portray about who we are, what we do and the future we’re building. We’ve used this to help us create a brand that best represents the business we are today and one that will also serve us well as we continue to grow.
We worked with an expert branding agency, who has been responsible for creating some of the best brands in the market to help us develop our new brand and tested our new brand through a market research agency with a large set of business customers, who were really positive about our fresh new look.
We wanted a single, memorable word which didn’t have a specific meaning in any language and worked across different geographies, but gives a sense of modernity, positivity and that works digitally and reflects our forward-thinking brand.
The symbol is part of our new visual identity. We’ll use it both internally and externally to connect people back to brand. Plus, we’ll adopt a new brand identity, a colour palette that works brilliantly digitally, and signifies our differentiation in the market, a new font, a new tone of voice and photography to help everything we share internally and externally look like the new “us”.
Our strategy remains the same: we aim to be the leading provider of integrated mobility solutions and automotive services. However, our refreshed strategic pillars signal our evolution; reflecting the opportunities our integrated mobility solution platform, are significantly broader than ever before. The new strategic pillars of Enable, Deliver and Grow reflect the forward-looking approach we have to the next phase of our journey.
We’ve evolved our purpose to reflect our broader ambitions around growth, technological innovation, sustainability and role of the group in supporting the transition to electric vehicles. We still aim to keep customers moving, but now we’ll do it smarter.
You’ll start to see the new name appear from 20 May, subject to shareholder vote on the 15 May. You’ll start to see the new brand appear internally and externally where you see the Redde Northgate brand today, like our corporate website, social media channels, recruitment portal and internally on My HUB. Our subsidiary brands will remain as they look today, except for the addition of the new lock up – part of ZIGUP.
