Northgate Vehicle Hire is broadening its collaboration with The Nurture Group as they further expand their commercial #EV fleet by acquiring 10 new Ford E-Transit vans for their Grounds Maintenance division. Since working with Northgate, Nurture made strides in reducing emissions across its commercial #fleet with Euro 6 compliant #vans emitting no more than 80mg/km of NOx gases, contributing to improved air quality. This has seen Nurture solidify their commitment to #sustainability and attract more business. Meet the GB Kite #Hydroliner from Wrightbus, our brand new single-deck bus powered entirely by #hydrogen, in operation with The Go-Ahead Group Brighton & Hove Buses and Metrobus, #Fastway route 10 serving #Crawley, London Gatwick Airport and #Horley, helping to reduce emissions and produce cleaner air. The GB Kite is equipped with cutting-edge technology to help achieve #netzero targets. We are incredibly proud of what the introduction of this vehicle means in the drive towards a greener, cleaner future for us all. Including fast re-fuelling time, this hydrogen-powered bus has numerous attributes that make it the ideal vehicle for long-distance travel. The bus shares 86% parts commonality with its Double Deck sister – the StreetDeck Hydroliner FCEV. That means it will provide considerable benefits to operators in terms of reducing fleet maintenance costs. Find out more about how the GB Kite Hydroliner can help your fleet meet it's net zero goals: https://lnkd.in/eX8DFRyH #wrightbus #singledeckbus #hydrogen #hydrogenbus #decarbonisation #drivingagreenerfuture

Fleet Friday | The Wrightbus StreetDeck Hydroliner – the world’s first hydrogen double deck bus, first hit the roads of the UK in Aberdeen in 2020, where it entered service with First Bus. These zero emission buses have been supporting Aberdeen ever since in their journey to a cleaner, greener future, helping to provide cleaner air in their streets and communities. The StreetDeck #Hydroliner was designed to meet the demands of both bus drivers and passengers and continues to lead the way in #zeroemission transport. These ground-breaking buses produce zero emissions, with water being the only by-product and feature - A range of up to 280 miles, can replace a diesel bus like-for-like - Best in class noise and vibration for ultimate passenger comfort - Manufactured using key components from tier 1 global suppliers - Under 8 minutes refuelling time #FridayFlashBack #FleetFriday #Wrightbus #Aberdeen #FirstBus #DrivingaGreenerFuture

Did you know that safe driving is eco-driving? Sustainable fleet management lowers environmental impacts through various best practices. At Edwards Land, we maintain our own fleet of trucks. Our fleet consists of newer, lower-emissions trucks that are monitored in real-time to ensure fleet optimization. Safety and the environment are a top priority for Edwards Land. We collect data on driver behaviours such as idling, speed and braking, resulting in driver efficiency scores. These scores have led to a greater awareness. In addition to better driving practices, we look to consolidate trips and avoid unnecessary stops, leading to reduced emissions and wasted fuel. Considering that every gallon of unnecessary diesel burned emits 22.1lbs of CO2, even minor increases in fuel efficiency result in significant emissions reductions when scaled across our entire fleet. #data #environment #safety #environmental #sustainable #surfaceland #albertaoil #albertabusiness #albertaenergy #saskatchewanoilandgas #landadministration #landagents #fleetmanagementsoftware #alberta Justin Edwards Joel Edwards Lisa Bzdurreck Richard J. Fleet electrification is gaining momentum due to its potential for reducing emissions and improving efficiency, particularly in logistics and port facilities. Key considerations include the economic benefits, advancements in electric vehicle (EV) technology, challenges with charging infrastructure, and grid capacity. Partnerships and grants, such as those involving bp pulse with the Port of New Orleans, play a crucial role in advancing these initiatives.
🎉 Exciting news! A huge congratulations to the Port of New Orleans and all the awardees of the Reduction of Truck Admissions at Port Facilities Grant from the FHWA. #bppulse is honored to be a partner with the Port of New Orleans on the fleet electrification project! Together, we're driving progress towards a more sustainable future. 🌍⚡️ #bppulse #fleet #fleetElectrification
