In Darlington, Redde Northgate plc proudly participates in the Darlington Employers Environment Partnership (DEEP), where likeminded local businesses and Local Authority members come together to promote sustainable practices. DEEP, which is Chaired by our very own Robert Macdiarmid FIEMA CEnv, Head of ESG for Redde Northgate, serves as the champion for the Darlington business community in achieving a just transition to net zero and reducing environmental impact. DEEP organises a series of Network and Learning events across the local area to assist members and other organisations in minimising their environmental footprint. Recently, Redde Northgate hosted an EV Open Day at our Darlington head office, in collaboration with DEEP and Darlington council, including a visit from the Mayor of Darlington. The event was a resounding success, with our experts providing valuable guidance on the latest electric vehicle options. Attendees left with a deeper understanding of the essential steps required to transition to electric vehicles in their fleets.
