Highlands Ranch Certified Collision Center ensures that all repairs are done properly. Repairs get started, a “pre-scan” is performed. The pre-scan essentially communicates with the network of computers in your vehicle to determine which parts and processes of the vehicle are working and which are not. This helps point the people working on your vehicle in the right direction by eliminating a lot of the guesswork and pointing them in the right direction. At Highlands Ranch Certified Collision Center, our techs also perform a post repair scan. running through all of the processes in the vehicle looking for error codes. If the vehicle is in perfect working order, and is still issuing diagnostic trouble codes, this may point to a problem with the diagnostic processes themselves. We work to identify and correct these issues to prevent a return to a repair shop like Highlands Ranch Certified Collision Center. 🌐 https://lnkd.in/g57AvU-r ☎️ (303) 791-6660

As with most things in a collision center, parts management begins with the repair plan. The weaker the repair plan, the more chaos there will be in managing parts.

Do you know what must be disclosed in a contract? There are six scenarios when a consumer who purchased a used vehicle may be eligible to cancel their vehicle contract. These include if a dealer fails to accurately disclose any of the following: - The correct model, make, or year of the vehicle. - The true distance the vehicle has travelled (within lesser of 5 per cent or 1,000 km of the correct distance). - If the vehicle was previously used as a taxi or limo. - Previous use of the vehicle as a police or emergency service vehicle. - That a vehicle has been branded (irreparable, salvage or rebuilt), and how it was last classified. - Previous use of the vehicle as a daily rental (unless the vehicle has subsequently been owned by someone other than a dealer).

When Chatham Gilder Howell Pittman is involved in a case where the other party suggests our client could have swerved and avoided an accident, we point out the risks of swerving. The situations where swerving is the best and only option are few and far between. Swerving may only be the best option if: 1) The road is straight and in good condition. 2) There is an emergency lane or shoulder to drive on. 3) There are no other vehicles around. 4) Swerving the vehicle you are driving will not cause it to skid. 5) Braking alone would not avoid the accident.
